Why did Gay Marriage become a question in a GOD fearing Nation? The different preferences and customs people have has been the beauty that makes America Great. However, all customs and preferences are not GOD approved. As pertaining to same sex marriage, that's where GOD draws the line. So, where do we go from here? The opportunity to live as free-beings with due process under the law ( however rough ) runs through the veins of justice all across America. Is gay marriage justifiable?
In my opinion, the words attributed in the Holy Bible to GOD are true without doubt and cannot be broken. GOD blessed Adam and Eve, then said to them " be fruitful and multiply ". Therefore, HE placed a blessing on the first marriage. The Bible also teaches us man is not to lie with a man as with a woman. For, it is an abomination to GOD. When it is an abomination to GOD, it is an abomination to my spiritual beliefs. JESUS said when being tempted by Satan " Man must not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceed out the mouth of GOD ".
Our various traditions and habitual expressions and different races of people is a tremendous asset to America the Beautiful. It is a rainbow of individuals who live together under the same banner. All persons should have equal protection under the law! Civil Rights is a qualification that should be applied regardless to sexual preference, woman or man or racial disposition. However, we must remember although LGBT are awarded all the rights of first-class citizens ( and they should be ); there is the Law of GOD that trumps all Constitutional Rules and Amendments. Romans Chapter 1:21-32 is as follows:
For although they knew GOD, they neither glorified him as GOD nor gave thanks to him....Therefore GOD gave them over in the sinful desires of there hearts....They exchanged the truth of GOD for a lie, ~~ Because of this, GOD gave them over to shameful lusts....men also abandoned natural relations with women and were inflamed with lust for one another. Men committed indecent acts with other men.... Although they know GOD'S righteous decree that those who do such things deserve death, they not only continue to do these very things but also approve of those who practice them.
Individuals of the same persuasion should feel free to love one another. Love is beautiful until that affection falls from love of a friend to lover of a friend. The lover of friends of the same gender spirals out of control due to a once bitten love delusion. It will confuse how children behave toward their friends. They will not know where the line stops. If it should stop and where it stops, will become a flip of the coin. The fear of GOD will not be in them because of gay acceptance. Those who dare to enter into a gay relationship will out of curiosity be tempted to sample the fruit unable to make good, by multiplying.
We are at the cross roads of History. Who is able to make the call. There is a Constitution that seems right to man and then there is GOD'S way. Roman 2:5-8 is as follows:
..when his righteous judgment will be revealed. GOD " will give to each person according to what he has done ". To those who by persistence in doing good seek glory, honor and immortality, he will give eternal life. But for those who are self-seeking and who reject the truth and follow evil, there will be wrath and anger.
Same sex marriage will ride the dragon of lust. Their selfishness will be their self serving end. Pray that we will not give in to evil. Rather, pray GOD will deliver us from the evil one. So, let us live by the laws of the land and practice the truth in them. Those that sit in judgment, may you judge each person with fairness. Remember you yourself will be judged by the measure you use on others.
