I understand Karzai's position & I understand why the U.S. is reluctant 2 turn over the prisoners B4 having well thought out plan. Karzai wants 2 ensure proper treatment of the Afghan detainees & He definitely wants 2 keep close contact with the Taliban prisoners.

Now the U.S. decision 2 have Taliban leaders oversee their own prisons, is in the best interest of the U.S. & NATO Forces. U place the Taliban Prison in an ally country who plays the role of Big Brother. That is far more safer than placing Karzai in a position 2 let the prisoner go free. In that case the Taliban can strengthen their base & make a strong comeback in the region.

This should be a well thought out plan.
