Rather than spend the money to pipe stuff to Texas(?), why not build a refinery in N. Dakota/Wisconsin?

Less pipe to maintain, less environment to threaten (by running a thousand miles of pipe through it).

Good idea - not only, but the big jobs issue would no longer exist. I'm guessing the cost factor might be a little higher, but the number of permanent jobs would be higher.

    Very surprised that Kentucky wasn't hit by the earthquake. Could be worse though. Good thing no one was injured.
